Oil on canvas (53x64cm) and its cassetta frame (67cm x 78cm). This portrait of a man is in good condition. It has been retensioned on its original chassis but does not show any tears. The man turned towards the viewer wears a wide collar, a black garment and gloves. It stands out against a dark brown background where we can read at the top left the date of execution of the painting, 1659.
