Wooden Mirror Painted In Trompe l'Oeil - Genoa - 1820s-1830s
A mirror which frame takes the form of an antique pediment. The wood is painted with trompe l’œil imitating ebony wood and the turtle scales motif, the tympanum is ornamented with gilt wood floral coiling.
