Small Casserole In Silver, XIXth Century.
Beautiful small silver saucepan slightly convex around the edge, with a medallion to receive a monogram; ebony handle with cutaway. Minerva hallmark. Gross weight: 196 gr. Goldsmith Cardeilhac. Grandson of Antoine Vital Cardeilhac, Ernest Cardeilhac after an apprenticeship with the goldsmith Horleux, took over the management of Maison Cardeilhac in 1885. It was with him that the production of gold and silver pieces began. Period late nineteenth, early twentieth century. Very good state.
