Two-body Bookcase With Mahogany Secretary, 19th Century.
The upper part opens with two glass doors revealing four shelves adjustable in height. L/D/H of the upper part: 107 X 34 X 126 cm. Internal depth of the bookcase: 29 cm. L/D of the cornice: 117 X 41 cm. The lower part opens with two doors and a drawer with a folding front forming a secretary, composed of nine drawers and five compartments. The worktop is covered with leather decorated with a gold pattern. L/D/H of the lower part: 107 X 46 X 107 cm. Total depth with the flap open: 102 cm. This very functional two-body allows you to have both a bookcase and a storage unit topped with a secretary with a worktop. Beautiful patina for this English-made mahogany piece of furniture. Very good condition, mahogany shelves from a later period. Mid-19th century period.
