Rare Louis XVI period officer's clock in chiseled and gilded bonze. Striking movement at the passage striking the hours and half-hours, zipper on demand and morning alarm zipper indicating the hours in Arabic numerals. Complicated model in its original gilding, with double-sided patterns on the front and back. Square quadrilateral shaped box surmounted by an ogee pediment with a grip in the form of a mobile ring, resting on small spinning feet with circular scrapers. Beautiful decoration very prominent with wreaths of laurels, oak leaves, acorns, rosettes and pearls. Lateral opening for ringing mechanism on demand (or pulling). Beautiful needle fleur de lys. Key is present. It should be noted two gears and slight wear of the period gilding. Good working order, revised by its previous owner. Dimensions: Height 22.9cm, Width 13.5cm, Depth 11.5cm.
