16 18th Procession Candlesticks In Metal And Painted Wood
Rare set of 16 processional candlesticks in metal and painted wood from the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
Traces of wear and chipping. The candlesticks are finished at their base with a wrought iron pin which allows them to be plugged into a support. We present them here grouped on a long plank of weathered fir, but they could also be staged in small groups.
The candlesticks are removable, can be handled individually, they are fitted on the back with a wrought iron hanging bracket.
Some with polychrome or monochrome biblical scenes: Mary and Anne, carrying of the cross, birth of Jesus, annunciation.
