Art Nouveau Ruby Pearl Brooch

Art Nouveau brooch representing foliage set with three small fine pearls topped with a bezel-set ruby. Under the ruby and at the end of the brooch are set in tassel two fine pearls. The clasp is a pin with a safety hook.

Period: 19th century
Main material: 750 thousandths 18K yellow gold, eagle's head hallmark.
Total ruby weight: approximately 0.20 carat.
Diameter of the pearls: 2.5 / 3 mm to 4 / 4.5 mm for the most important.
Total length: 3.7 cm, width: 3.5 cm.
Net weight: approx. 4 g. Authentic old jewel - French work circa 1890.
Our opinion: A charming Art Nouveau brooch, characteristic of the "noodle" style with a satin finish.
