Beautiful pair of candlesticks in chased and gilded bronze with mercury in the form of Baluster. The set begins with a tripod lion foot base on plinth, followed by a decoration of acanthus leaf, foliage, flowers, cluster, winding and pearls. The set is made up of thirteen independent pieces, a guarantee of quality. The original mercury gilding is superb, with matt and shiny and has been fully cleaned by a master bronzer. Circa 1830 Height 34.5 cms / Weight 3.872 kgs.
