Folded fan, skin leaf mounted in the English style and painted with Apollo holding the reins of the horses running over a cloud. To his glory, nymphs play cymbals, trumpet and tambourine. A river god on the left sits next to  a personification of abundance. Back  painted with a large landscape. Very finely pierced ivory sticks, carved and engraved with the repeated motif of a woman playing the guitar. In the center, Chinoiserie  decoration of pagodas and characters. Italy, around 1750-60. with CITES
