Louis XV Commode In Cherry
18th century chest of drawers in cherry with crossbow facade with three drawers. Pull handles and lock entries with bronze rosettes. The uprights are hollowed out and punctuated by arched feet. The bottom crosspieces are fretted, paneled sides, top in black veined marble from Louverné in Mayenne. Note a small marble accident (see photos).
