Cauldron with handle, in thick red copper with a very elaborate decoration of an engraved frieze followed by two counter-borders making the turn of a great precision of the bowl without breaking point.
Native to Iran, this style of object is specific to the region near the border of Azerbaijan.
We find precisely this type of very elegant decor in the design of certain borders of the Persian carpet, notably on the Heriz.
