Of exceptional aesthetic quality, this four-legged chair connected by X-shaped crotch bars ends with animal hooves. The curved crosspiece on the front is finely carved with an openwork shell surrounded by foliage and flowers. Armrests recessed in "whiplash". Very good quality of walnut. Possibility of fitting a new fabric and seat restoration for 300 euros. Provenance: personal collection from the Midi. Languedoc circa 1720.
