Le Faucheur - An important sculpture with an original brown patina, it is signed on the E. AIZELIN terrace and rests on a swivel base, beautiful old cast iron from the 19th century. AIZELIN Eugène-Antoine (1821-1902) pupil of Jule Ramey and Auguste Dumont at the École des Beaux Arts in Paris in 1844, he made his debut at the Salon in 1852 and exhibited there regularly until 1897, he also participated in Universal exhibitions of 1878, 1889 and 1900. He obtained several awards at the Salon with a third medal in 1859 and a second medal in 1861, as well as at the Universal Exhibition a third medal in 1878 and a gold medal with the model. in bronze from the group "Mignon" in 1889.
