Miniature ceremonial cannon with slender proportions, bronze barrel mounted on a carriage with large bronze spoked wheels and independent limon.
The carriage and limon are made of natural green lacquered wood reinforced with wrought iron fittings and assembly parts, demonstrating careful workmanship faithful to the style of the arsenals. This type of ceremonial cannon was part of a tradition of commemoration and honor, intended to commemorate service rendered or to be awarded as a mark of official distinction in the form of a symbolic gift during the Napoleonic campaigns.
