Kabyle Berber Beni Yenni Necklace - Silver "taza" Beads And "el Merjane" Red Coral
Authentic traditional Berber necklace from Greater Kabylia made of natural red coral and silver.
This necklace features a central pendant shaped like an Agadez cross, reinterpreted in the traditional Kabyle craftsmanship style of Beni Yenni.
It is composed of large spherical cloisonné silver enameled beads, known as "Taza", featuring cobalt blue, green, and yellow enamel.
It is adorned with "Imejjan" amulet pendants in the shape of stylized fibulae, set with raw Mediterranean red coral beads, known as "El Merjane", as well as small smooth or ribbed silver spacer beads that structure the piece.
These elements are made of low-grade silver and mounted on a nylon thread, with a leather back-fastening (also a later addition).
