Clovis TERRAIRE (1858-1931): Painter of genre scenes, animated landscapes, landscapes, water landscapes. Clovis TERRAIRE painted many landscapes around his town and the region: Bugey and Bresse, Dauphiné, Haute Savoie and Switzerland. He excels at making the greyness foggy on the banks of the Rhône and the Saône, under subdued lighting. Also animal, he specializes in grazing cows. Clovis TERRAIRE exhibited at the Salons de Lyon and French Artists in Paris and won the Rosa-Bonheur prize in 1927 - Delivery possible.
