Superb oil on panel 33x46cm (47x60 cm framed) painted biface signed Jean Baptiste AUSILIA - painter from CONSTANTINE born en1878. The main face is the NORD jetty (KHEIR EDDINE) in Algiers. This painter, rare signature of the school of ALGER, exhibited in ALGER in 1922 and 1936 as well as in the salon of Algerian oriental artists in 1925 and in the winter salon. It is listed in the book of Elisabeth CAZENAVE " the artists of ALGERIA 1830-1962 ". The painting is in excellent condition
