Alphonse de Labroue (?, 1792 - Metz, January 7, 1863) was active in Metz where his mother Mme Labroue was a painter, and where also lived the family Malherbe who counted among its customers. This Lorrain became Parisian at 31 rue de Beaune, exhibited at the Salon of 1844 two studies of heads. His current production ranges from 1819 to around 1845. Among his works, there are some remarkable, including those of MAD de Bordeaux, the museum of miniature Montelimar, the National Museum, Stockholm, etc. His ad-vivum portrait of the landscape painter Friedrich was sold at the Salon du Dessin 2010 in Paris
