Ivory Crucifixion - Sino-portuguese 17th Century
At the foot of the cross - the Virgin and Mary Magdalene.
Medium : Bone and Ivory.
The base on which the Calvary rests is unscrewed and gives access to a small circular box.
Conditions:
The right arm has been restored at the elbow.
The sculted group including the Virgin Mary and Mary Magdalene was glued to the base of the cross.
Upper ring of base - missing 2mm at the back.
