Ngbaka - Northwest Democratic Republic Of Congo
Sculpture with geometric patterns. Two circular +/- perforations are on one side and a false perforation exists on the other side. The wood is light brown on one side and darker on the side where the feet are. Origin: north-west of the Democratic Republic of Congo, between the Oubangui River and the middle of the Congo River. Object dating from 1875-1900. Very good state of conservation. Length: 48 cm H: 21 cm Old Belgian collection.
