Gilt bronze very finely chiseled with garlands of flowers and foliage (acanthus / vine), interlacing and rosettes.
The central barrel carries 4 feminine terms surmounted by wildlife masks.
5 arms of light.
White marble base.
Monograms ED below the bronze base.
Epoque XIXth century, style Louis XVI.
Work of quality, nice clearance in the bronze carving.
A similar model from the old Rothschild collections was sold by Tessier and Sarrou. The design of the model is kept in the Museum of Decorative Arts.
