Naturalist Microscope Type Gary Gould - Epoque XIX
Naturalist travel microscope, Cary-Gould type consisting of a mahogany wooden cabinet with its compartmentalized velvet interior. The set is assembled and fixed thanks to the support fixed on the box. All the elements are in lacquered brass, the small mirror of the bottom is mercury with gaps and oxidation. Presence of an ivory bar with small insects in the compartments. The set mounts perfectly, lacks the small orientable mirror that was used to capture the light.
