Aux Atlandes Console
Important wooden console richly carved atlantes, a leafy garland and flowers and cornucopia framing a love surmounted by a mask of traditional grotesque. Newly decorated with the leaf, it rests on four feet whose two posterior-shaped form of are ended by volutes. The front legs stabilize the console that does not need to rest against a wall, but simply to be backed, not being a piece of furniture. Top of veined white marble. Renaissance style work, XIXth century. 80 x 145 x 65 cm.
