"Pair Of Bronze Andirons - XIX"
Pair of bronze andirons with double patina - 19th century. Very nice pair of chiselled gilt bronze andirons with the theme of chilly children. These, with brown patina, emerge from a broad winding of acanthus foliage. They heat themselves to a firepot. The set is based on a fluted and pearled base with acanthus leaves and supported by six small pearl legs (one of which is a posterior). Louis XVI style - 19th century. Dimensions: length: 39.3 cm; width: 10.9 cm; height: 28.5 cm. Very good state.
