Signed lower right: Edmond DELPHAUT 49– and located on the back “canal de Nantes à Brest 1949– Edmond DELPHAUT (1891-1957) is an artist (painter and sculptor) who created several sculptures in memory of the soldiers of the Great War at the request of French and German communities.
