Style Jacob Petit , Polychrome Porcelain Fireplace Set, 19th Century.
This charming mantelpiece set comprises three pieces. The clock is surmounted by a seated buccaneer with a prominent floral motif on a blue and white background, topped with attractive gilding. The vases stand on original bases decorated on both sides. The base of the clock bears a number and the inscription "BIN" in red. Good overall condition (restorations indicated by blue pencil in the photos). France: second half of the 19th century, in the style of Jacob Petit (1840-1850).
