Pair Of Porcelain Vases – Paris 20th Century.
Magnificent pair of porcelain vases, decorated on a cobalt blue background and topped with various ornamental motifs in gold-colored overlay. A large medallion on each side depicts gallant scenes with very fresh colors. The decorative handles represent the stylistics of the Empire style: columns with palmettes, a human head, and topped with a white swan with golden wings, the long neck ends with a pretty unglazed biscuit swan head. These vases rest on a square base and bear a mark under this base of two intertwined Ls in the taste of SEVRES and crowned, with the letters DB on each side. Excellent condition. Dimensions: total height: 41 cm; square base: 12 cm.
