Renaissance Style Chest, In Carved Oak, Eighteenth.
Renaissance style chest in solid oak. The facade has four vertical panels richly carved, the two central are decorated with a medallion decorated with a fleur de lys, the other two are decorated with a profile of male character. the uprights of the front legs are also richly carved. The sides are panned and have a carrying handle. Note the two back legs have been scratched and old wrought iron squares have been reinforcement from the inside (see photo), the lock is absent.
