Pair Of Bronzes - Louis Majorelle

Part of an art-nouveau fireplace front, model with Louis Majorelle poppies. These 2 bronzes with golden patina were connected by a bar decorated with poppies too. They are finely crafted, rare model. Bibliography: Model reproduced in "Majorelle" by Roselyne Bouvier, Serpenoise editions page 180 n ° 191. Part of a set "Presented at the Paris Furniture Fair 1905". Note, a slight depression of bronze on a border at the back, in no way detracting from the aesthetics of the object.
