Gisbertus Voetius (Latin version of the Dutch name Gijsbert Voet) (March 3, 1589 - November 1, 1676) was a Dutch Calvinist theologian. In 1619 he played an influential role in the Synod of Sleeping, and in 1634 was made professor of theology and Eastern Science at the University of Utrecht. He was a defender of a strong form of Calvinism (Gomarism) against the Arminians.
Willem de Broen (Amsterdam 1686-Leiden 1748): In the eighteenth century, some fine examples of peasants, brought to Adrian van Ostade in copper, and in addition to being one of the co-assistants of the biblical plates. He also made ex-libris from his own projects.
