Old engraving very rare. Dutch school of the eighteenth century. "PORTRAIT OF GUGLIELMUS VAN SUIVENHUYSEN"
ARTIST: ABRAHAM DE BLOIS (1671-1717). Engraving engraver, active between 1686 and 1717. He entered the guild of Delft in 1686. He worked on the Bible van der Marck and Picart.
AFTER DAVID VAN DER PLAS OR VAN DER PLAAS (Amsterdam 1647-1704): Was one of the best portrait painters in Holland. His success contained many paintings, there is reason to believe that he was also an art dealer. in 1700, he received money from the Tsar of Russia, probably for a council of paintings.
TECHNICAL: Black way on paper.
