Empire miniature, dated on the reverse of 1803. Profile gouache, on paper then cut and fixed on a black painted background. This technique is that of the artist named Augustin son (from the family of the famous Jean-Baptiste Jacques Augustin). He signed under the bust, but the background having been formerly repainted, the signature disappeared.Portrait: 6cm
