Many of them, such as Seirafian, Davari, Enteshar and Haghighi, have a worldwide reputation. The motifs are often inspired by the mosaics of the mosques or the gardens and palaces of the city. The carpets of Isfahan are high in terms of the composition of the motifs, the materials and the realization. Isfahan is distinguished by fine carpets, often of extreme density (Senneh knots), and whose chain is sometimes made of silk threads.
