Sculpture Oak : The Palm
In all objectivity (and everyone knows that I am deposited at the Pavillon de Breteuil as a standard of objectivity!), I am totally incapable of putting an epoch on this object ... Is it a XVIIIth century capital intended to be stuccoed and gilded Afterwards? A masterpiece for castings of objects type Applique of Serge Roche? I do not know, but it is always that I was seduced by the decorative side and intrigued by the assembly of several pieces of oak engraved, probably to prevent the whole work if it had been a single piece.
