An inscription has been concealed on the stretcher, which can be partially deciphered under a Wood’s lamp, but it is unlikely to referto the artist since it is not original…
In a dreamlike atmosphere, a man appears to be driving a log into the mouth of amonster whose body is composed of Gothic arches…
