Commode Scriban In Mahogany Louis XV Period

Exceptional chest of drawers forming scriban of early 18th century with double crossbow facade in massive mahogany. Opening on two large drawers and a fretted lid. The uprights are carved and carved, revealing reliefs and flowers in a style reminiscent of the Regency. The lower transom is sculpted and rests on superb curved arch feet. The flap is fretted and a beautiful carved molding gives it a beautiful relief. The interior reveals four drawers with double curves, two of which are helically shaped in the mass, framing a niche with a crossbow drawer with a secret system (see photo).
