Gouache XVIII Century "scene Galante"
Jolie gouache on vellum representing a gallant scene in an idealized countryside. This delicate work is remarkable for the freshness of its colors and finesse of execution. it symbolizes perfectly the romanticism of the late eighteenth century. Is framed by her wand pretty gilded stucco early XIX Century. We can note two tiny defects: a crack in a corner of the vellum (see photo) and a small hole to the right of the young shepherdess.
