Second Half Of The 18th Century Pair Of Neoclassical Marble Vases
Elegant pair of vases, finely carved from white
statuary marble—one of which features subtle grey veining. Expertly turned, the
vases are designed with a circular base and an everted rim, echoing the forms
of vessels from classical antiquity. This pair is exceptionally refined and
tasteful, lending a touch of class and history to any setting. Italian
craftsmanship, dating to the neoclassical/Louis XVI period, second half of the
18th century.
