Antique Neo-renaissance Carved Wood Jewelry Box
A rare, antique jewelry box made entirely of carved wood. It consists of several pieces that have been richly carved on the lid. It depicts a rural scene featuring two figures, sheep, a dog, and a forest. The sides are adorned with garlands of flowers, which are also richly decorated. The front features military motifs, including bayonets, an eagle, epaulets, and other elements. Finally, on the back, musical motifs are depicted, also richly decorated with beautiful bas-reliefs. Please note that one hinge needs repair. Below, there is a screw because the original dowel was damaged. The satin-finished interior is in its original condition.
