Bronze Lynx By Finnish Artist Jussi Mäntynen/65cm
Artist: Jussi Mantynen
A significant bronze sculpture depicting a lynx, created by the Finnish animal sculptor Jussi Mäntynen (1886–1978). Created in 1951, this sculpture revisits a subject the artist had already explored in 1938, albeit in a different composition. It stands out for the power of its volumes, its vigorous modeling—which reveals traces of the artist’s work—and the stylization of its forms, with Art Deco accents.
