Art Deco Oak Nightstand With Black Line Inlay And Red Marble Top, 1920
An Art Deco bedside cabinet in oak, made in Belgium around 1920. The cabinet has a frieze drawer above a single door, both decorated with fine black line inlay that frames the panels, and stylised Art Deco metal pulls.
The top is a thick slab of red marble with white and grey veining, which gives the piece a rich contrast with the warm oak. The sides show beautiful oak grain, and the cabinet stands on four straight legs.
A practical and decorative piece that works as a nightstand, a small side cabinet or a lamp table in a living room or hallway.
