Wooden Statue Of The Infant Jesus.... Late 17th Century
Large polychrome wooden statue of the Infant Jesus,
German work from the late 17th century
It is in its original, found condition; it needs to be cleaned, but the wood is in very good condition, no twists or missing fingers (rare)
chips in the polychrome paint give it a very decorative look with the marks of time—let’s not forget that this object has survived more than three hundred years, weathering wars, fires, and looting!
