Solid Silver Teapot
Solid silver teapot with an ebony handle.
In the Rocaille style, the body is slightly twisted, decorated with foliage and crown motifs.
Very good condition. On the underside of the teapot is a hallmark featuring an “A” and a second one featuring a rooster. The French hallmark “the swan” appears in various places.
Dated to the late 19th or early 20th century.
We have no information regarding the provenance of this teapot, nor regarding the two hallmarks.
