Louis XV-style Marquetry Chest Of Drawers

Louis XV-style chest of drawers with two drawers made of oak and varnished marquetry veneer.

Its top is made of rough-cut marble in shades of pink.

The handles, lock plates, legs, and side ornaments are made of bronze.

It comes with its key, and the lock works perfectly.

In good overall condition; the varnish on the first drawer is slightly faded.  There are a few slight scratches on the varnish around the lock opening and above the handles of the first drawer.
There is also a scratch in the marquetry on the left side.

French craftsmanship, mid-20th century.
