Figure Holding A Rope
Created using mixed media on cardstock, the composition stands out for its soft, nuanced tones. It depicts a human figure rendered in sepia tones, immersed in a textured and evocative background, juxtaposed with a minimalist, geometric line.
The artist’s work is primarily rooted in abstract figuration. He uses the human figure and organic motifs as poetic vehicles to create a dialogue between his inner world and external reality. He is known for his mastery of mixed media, in which he combines pigments, inks, materials, and textured or blended backgrounds, frequently working on paper, cardstock, or canvas. His works are distinguished by a sober and minimalist color palette and a great economy of graphic lines.
