A Beautiful Pair Of Chinese-style Coffee Tables
An elegant pair of Chinese-style coffee tables, made around 1970, featuring a geometric frame of black-lacquered wood accented with delicate gold trim.
The square tabletops are embellished with inlaid woven panels, adding a subtle variation in material and texture. The simple, architectural lines of the legs, combined with the gilded frames, give the set a refined aesthetic, inspired by traditional Chinese furniture and the craze for chinoiserie in 20th-century European interiors.
