Indo-persian Miniature – Scene Of A Conversation
An elegant Indo-Persian miniature depicting two figures seated facing each other in a garden, engaged in conversation. The composition is distinguished by its arrangement into colorful registers, combining a stylized plant motif, a richly ornamented carpet, and architectural elements suggested by balustrades.
The finesse of the drawing and the delicacy of the colors—dominated by shades of green, blue, and ochre—evoke the tradition of court miniatures from South Asia and Persia. The decorative treatment of the scene and the depiction of the figures lend the work an intimate and refined charm.
Presented in a beautiful gilded wooden frame decorated with carved medallions, this miniature is a unique decorative piece, ideal for a collection of Oriental art or a classic and eclectic interior.
