Functional Miniature Control Tower, Circa 1900

A rare miniature masterwork lathe made entirely of metal and mounted on a rectangular base. The model accurately reproduces the main components of a real lathe, including the headstock, the stepped pulleys, the tool carriage, the tailstock, the adjusting screws, and the various handwheels. The components are movable, and the mechanism is functional. A highly precise piece, likely crafted as a master’s project or demonstration model in the early 20th century. Original patina, signs of use, surface oxidation, and wear consistent with its age.
