Eugène Alluaud 1866–1947 (crozant School, Detroy, Madeline...)
A charming oil painting on panel depicting a generous bouquet of peonies in delicate shades of pink, white, and mauve, arranged in a vase on a table. The artist subtly plays on the contrasts between the luminous flowers, the deep green foliage, and the turquoise background, lending the composition a beautiful freshness and a remarkable decorative presence.
The brushwork is generous, expressive, and lively, with a rich painterly texture that gives depth to the petals and conveys the artist’s sensitivity in his treatment of the flowers.
