19th-century Empire-style Console Table In Mahogany With A Black Marble Top, Mid-1800s
An elegant Empire-style console table, dating from the mid-19th century, made entirely of elm wood with exquisite elm burl veneer. The front features a drawer with striking natural grain, while the top is made of dark marble with a rounded edge.
The structure is supported by two elegant, volute-shaped legs—typical of the period’s style—joined by a lower shelf with a mixtilinear profile that rests on bulbous turned feet
